Lingerie Guide

  1. Always Check the Care Label

Clothing labels provide instructions on washing methods such as dry cleaning and bleach usage. Check the care label before washing to avoid damage.

  2. Wash Separately

Dark-colored underwear may bleed and stain other laundry. Always wash dark-colored items separately.

  3. Choose the Right Detergent

The type of detergent and bleach depends on the fabric. If the underwear is not 100% cotton, use a mild detergent.

    • For silk lingerie or lace underwear, use a gentle, neutral detergent.

    • Avoid alkaline detergents on silk, as they can damage the fabric and reduce its shine.

    • For floral or printed patterns, use detergents without optical brighteners to preserve the design.

Basic Washing Instructions

  1. Hand Wash Recommended

Underwear fabrics often include cotton, nylon, silk, and delicate lace.
While machine washing is possible, hand washing is the best method to preserve quality.

    • When hand washing, dissolve detergent in warm water before washing.

    • Turn inside out when washing embroidered, lace, or frilled items.

    • Avoid rubbing vigorously, as this may cause pilling or lace damage. Handle gently to maintain the fabric’s texture.

  2. Machine Washing (If Necessary)

Use lukewarm water (30–40°C) to remove stains and sweat easily. Always use a laundry bag to protect lace and delicate parts from damage. (Do not overload the laundry bag, as too many items can prevent proper cleaning.)

Bra Washing Instructions

Molded cup bras contain delicate padding materials that require careful handling. Follow these steps to maintain their shape and longevity.

  1. Hand Wash Only
    • Do not use a washing machine.

    • Do not rub the cups while washing.

    • Instead, gently shake the cups in water to clean them.

  2. Proper Drying Methods

Reshape the cups before drying. For molded bras, place them in the recommended drying position to maintain their form.
Do not use a dryer. Instead, press gently with a dry towel to remove excess water.
While the cups are still wet, smooth out any wrinkles to maintain their volume, then dry them in the shade.

  3. Storage Tips to Prevent Cup Deformation

Store bras carefully to prevent cups from getting crushed.
When placing bras in a drawer,
fold the straps and wings inside the cups and arrange them so that both cups remain unpressed.
Avoid overstuffing bras in the drawer, as this can distort their shape.

  1. Prevent cup deformation. After washing, gently stretch the fabric to restore its shape, then fold it carefully for drying on a hanger or drying rack.
  2. Silk lingerie should be air-dried in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause fabric damage.
  3. Reshape the bra before drying. Nylon and polyurethane fabrics can fade or discolor under direct sunlight, so always dry in the shade.
  4. Use both hands to lightly pat the lace area dry. For bra cups, use your fingertips to reshape them before drying to prevent deformation.
